i will go for a warmer CNY vacation, but still pending the place between HAWAII or MIAMI.
Any good suggestion? i am kind of urban blinky person but this time really want to out of city for a while.

Well, when it comes to spring holiday everything will be pricier such as accommodations, flights and other travel expenses, what would i do usually for accommodations and flights is book them in advance through travel agent or the internet, another thing you probably have to deal with is the crowds due to all the traveling during that time, so i would suggest you guys to go either before the chinese new year( 12th of Feb 2010) or after, the chinese spring holidays for companies usually starts 2 weeks ahead, that's when all the moving around happens, and you are welcome.

Thank you Mary. It was really helpful. I think we will try to check out harbin. We haven't seen snow in our lifetime. It will be some unique experience for us. hehe. Do you think it is diffucult to travel around China this coming spring holiday?

Hi Jerald, if you are interested in going to a warmer place such as hai nan, that would be nice to get some sun on the beach, or Harbin as a extremely cold city for ice sculpture where they build ice houses and bars, hope this info can help a bit ;-)
