The Old Junk... hmmmmmmm well don't let the name fool ya... hehehehe

Despite the proximity from me (I stayed in Jida) The Old Junk was a nice change of pace for me. Mike (the owner) is a cool British bloke who'll make you feel right at home... and his staff is very attentive and friendly. I usually would go up there to hang with some mates from UIC or some special party. The prices are fairly reasonable.... I drank a lot when I went so I always thought the prices were fair... hahahaha. I do recommend this place though... coz hey you can't always party in Gongbei!!!

Yea that's right, we can't always party in Gongbei, so the old junk is the perfect place to relax and enjoy!!!!!!!!!

You're right Jean, Mr. Pizza is closed on Mondays. It already said this on our Mr. Pizza page here, but I've made it a little clearer now :)

Yes, the Junk is open from 16:00 on Mondays and will stay open until anywhere between 00:00 midnight and 03:00, depending on how many people are there and how much you're all drinking! :)

I really enjoy spending time on THE OLD CHINESE JUNK. I can chat with my friends freely and comfortably here, and the food here is good, too. This place is not too noisy as the common bars, but also not too quiet as the usual western restaurants, haha. The party in THE OLD JUNK brought me lots of fun: life music is fantastic and international! A very special place that you can never miss it!
