OK, so it's tiny (seats about 10 people unless Kevin moves the seats outside, which does happen!) and it's no-frills, but personally I'm a fan of Kevin's Sandwiches!

Last time I was there was with Belgian Sam for the grand re-opening following a redecoration that involved moving the counter from running the length of the shop to the back.

I had a bacon and egg sandwich and asked if the egg could be 'not mixed', i.e. leaving the egg yolk runny - yum! This, in my mind, is a nice start to the day (despite what my arteries think!)

It's located in Jida - directly across the road from the Holiday Inn on 景山路 ~ jǐng shān lù.

Kevin' Sandwich also offers delivery in and aroung the Jida / North Gong Bei area - call for price / availability.

The chicken meat is "chinese style" or "Ryan's style"? (I like chicken's breast in my sandwich, not the compressed mixed up chicken meat they usually give you here...)

it was close at about 4 pm when i passed.
i were so disappointed.
than i went to shopping for some time.
at about 6 pm, i came there to meet it.
luckly, it was open.
so, i order a dried pork flakes egg sandwich.
it's okay. delicious. hey, come to have a try.
'couse i am chinese, sandwich for breafast is ok ,but not for dinner.
ahahahah~O(∩_∩)O

Unfortunately, for the past year I have been living and working in Tangjia, and therefore I haven’t been able to get there very much. His sandwiches are excellent, and he always gave me a complimentary cup of coffee after I ordered my meal.

The only “problem” (if you can call it that) is that, when the public schools are in session you can forget about going there during weekday lunchtime hours. The place is usually packed to overflowing with a hoard of rowdy, noisy primary students from the nearby school; and Kevin and his staff get too busy serving their never-ending requests for soda or milk tea to take care of his other customers who want a proper lunch.

If, however, you can get there at other times on a weekday, you’ll notice that the service is MUCH better. I don’t know if I would consider Kevin’s to be a “destination”; but I DO know that Kevin’s is a damned fine place to drop into if you happen to be in the area for some very good sandwiches at a very reasonable price.
